The most important things when looking at a headset would have to be comfort and sound quality. To cover the first part, yes this headset is comfortable, comfortable to the point that after a while of wearing it you start to not really even mind. The headset is padded on the ears and on the top , and is really quite comfortable. It also isn’t too heavy being made mostly out of plastic, but at the same time it doesn’t feel cheap. The microphone is also detachable and even if you don’t detach it, the microphone is fully pose able and is easy to move out of your way.
Sound quality is crystal clear on the RHTS-8206, most of what I played was single player, and in this respect the sound drew you into the world of the games that you played. While the Rosewill isn’t ultimately noise cancelling it cancels out most noise letting you enjoy the game entirely. My favorite play sessions with the headset included Metro 2033, Amnesia, and Skyrim. In fact, headsets like this work absolute wonders with horror games. Of course the sound quality is great, so you can use this headset for things other than games.
