PROCEDURE FOR MAKING A WARRANTY CLAIM


To make a warranty claim pursuant to this Limited Warranty, you must completely fill out the RMA Request form found on our website and provide relevant information within the warranty period.

The information must include:

(1) Proof of purchase from an authorized reseller
(2) Serial number of the defective product
(3) Description of the problem or defect
(4) Date the defect was first discovered
(5) Shipping address and phone number

After reviewing your claim, Rosewill will notify you whether your claim is denied or conditionally accepted, or whether Rosewill needs additional information. If Rosewill requests additional information, you must provide the information within 30 days of Rosewill’s request or your claim becomes void.

*If your claim is conditionally accepted, Rosewill will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA"). You must return the Product(s) to Rosewill (at the address provided by Rosewill), along with any included product accessories, the proof of purchase and the RMA, within 30 days of the issuance of the RMA claim.

*If you fail to return the Product(s), proof of purchase, and RMA, along with any other information requested by Rosewill, within this 30-day period, your claim becomes void.

*If upon receiving the Product Rosewill determines that you do not have a valid claim under this Limited Warranty (including, but not limited to, because the Product(s) do not suffer from a defect covered by this Limited Warranty), Rosewill reserves the right to deny your claim. If Rosewill accepts your claim, Rosewill will provide a comparable replacement unit from Rosewill.



STANDARD WARRANTY REPLACEMENT


This is the standard option which requires sending the faulty product to Rosewill return facilities first. Once your return arrives at Rosewill facility, the product will be tested and examined for area(s) of defect. Then it will either be repaired, or replaced with an equivalent model, depending on the model and age of your product.

The replacement will be sent out to you within 2 business days of the return being received and processed*. Return processing may take up to 5 business days from when the Product(s) are confirmed delivered.

* Replacement units may be placed on backorder until a comparable item is available. Backordered replacements are considered approved while awaiting stock availability.

SHIPPING EXPENSE


Return shipping of original product to Rosewill return facilities are at customer's expense.

Replacement will be sent out using standard Ground shipping with freight charges paid by Rosewill.

OBSOLETE OR DISCONTINUED PRODUCTS


An obsolete or discontinued product will be replaced by the same product if it is available. If the same product is unavailable, Rosewill will replace the obsolete or discontinued product with a product of similar function and capacity.



EXCLUSIONS


This Limited Warranty applies only to Product(s) manufactured by or for Rosewill that are marked with the " Rosewill " trade name or logo and contain a valid Rosewill serial number. This Limited Warranty is void if the serial number is removed from the Product(s).

This Limited Warranty does not apply to, and specifically excludes, the following: (a) Product(s) sold in used condition or Refurbished condition by anyone other than Rosewill; (b) Normal wear and tear and cosmetic damage, including, but not limited to, scratches, and dents; (c) Defects or damage caused by misuse; neglect; abuse; alteration; unusual stress; modification; improper or unauthorized repair, installation, wiring, or testing; improper storage; spilled liquids, moisture, burns, or components flare-up; (d) Damage caused by acts of nature, such as lightning, flood, fire, earthquake, unusual voltage or other environmental factors. (e) Damage due to high-load system usage such as, industrial server, computing testing tool, mining equipment; (f) Damage caused by operating the Product(s) outside the permitted or intended uses described by Rosewill; (g) Damage caused by use with non- Rosewill products; (h) Any non- Rosewill hardware products or any software, even if packaged or sold with the Product(s); and (i) Modifications of the Product(s) hardware by anyone other than Rosewill.

Rosewill reserves the right to dispose or destroy the product(s) if Rosewill suspects fraud or if Rosewill determines that the Product(s) are counterfeit, stolen or lost in shipment.

Rosewill does not warrant that the operation of the Product(s) will be uninterrupted or error-free. Rosewill is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the use of the Product(s).

LIMITATION OF DAMAGES AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES


ROSEWILL SOLE LIABILITY FOR ANY DEFECTIVE HARDWARE PRODUCT IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT AT OUR SOLE OPTION. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ROSEWILL BE LIABLE IN ANY WAY TO THE END-USER FOR ANY DAMAGES IN CONNECTION WITH THE HARDWARE PRODUCT OR IT'S SALE, PURCHASE OR USE. INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF USE OF THE HARDWARE PRODUCT OR ANY ASSOCIATED PERIPHERALS, OR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE WHETHER OR NOT FORESEEABLE AND WHETHER OR NOT BASED ON BREACH OF WARRANTY, CONTRACT OR NEGLIGENCE, EVEN IF ROSEWILL HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

All implied warranties are limited in duration to the warranty period. All such implied warranties are expressly disclaimed for periods beyond the warranty period. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the duration of an implied warranty, so this limitation may not apply to you.
